Ingredients

4 large flour tortillas

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1 cup Nutella or any nut butter of your choice

1 medium banana, thinly sliced

½ cup strawberries, hulled and sliced

¼ cup mini chocolate chips

¼ cup honey or maple syrup (for drizzling)

1 tsp ground cinnamon (optional, for extra flavor)

Cooking spray or 1-2 tablespoons butter (for frying)

Instructions

Prep Your Fillings: Begin by carefully slicing the banana into thin rounds and hulling the strawberries before slicing them into thin pieces. Set the prepared fruit aside for later use.

Assemble the Quesadilla: Take one flour tortilla and lay it flat on a clean surface or cutting board. Spread a generous layer of Nutella or your preferred nut butter on one half of the tortilla, ensuring an even coat that reaches the edges. Sprinkle a mix of mozzarella and cheddar cheese over the Nutella. Layer on the sliced banana and strawberries, then finish with a delightful sprinkle of mini chocolate chips.

Fold the Quesadilla: Gently fold the tortilla in half, covering the filling with the uncoated half. Press down lightly to help seal the edges.

Cook the Quesadilla: Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Spray the skillet lightly with cooking spray or melt 1-2 tablespoons of butter to coat the bottom evenly. Carefully place the folded quesadilla in the skillet. Cook for about 2-3 minutes, monitoring closely until the bottom is golden brown and you begin to see the cheese melting through.

Flip: Using a spatula, gently flip the quesadilla to cook the other side. Allow it to cook for another 2-3 minutes until it is crispy and golden brown, and the cheese is fully melted and gooey.

Serve: Once cooked, remove the quesadilla from the skillet and transfer it to a cutting board. For an extra touch, drizzle with honey or maple syrup. Cut the quesadilla into wedges and, if using, sprinkle with a dash of ground cinnamon for added flavor.

Repeat: Continue this process with the remaining tortillas and ingredients until everything is used up.

Enjoy! Serve the quesadillas warm as a delightful after-school treat or a fun dessert that kids and adults alike will adore!
