9 lasagna noodles

1 pound ground turkey

2 cups fresh spinach, chopped

1 cup ricotta cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 large egg

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper, to taste

2 cups marinara sauce

1 tablespoon olive oil

Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Cook the Lasagna Noodles:

    Bring a large pot of salted water to a vigorous boil. Carefully add the lasagna noodles and cook according to the package instructions until they reach an al dente texture. Once cooked, drain the noodles and lay them flat on a sheet of parchment paper or a clean kitchen towel to prevent sticking.

      Cook the Ground Turkey:

        In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for approximately 1 minute, or until it becomes fragrant. Next, add the ground turkey, seasoning it with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook the turkey, stirring frequently, until browned and fully cooked, about 7 to 10 minutes.

          Incorporate Spinach:

            Add the chopped spinach to the turkey mixture, stirring well. Cook for an additional 2 to 3 minutes until the spinach wilts. Remove the skillet from heat and let the turkey-spinach mixture cool slightly.

              Prepare the Cheese Filling:

                In a large mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, 1/2 cup of the shredded mozzarella cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, egg, and the cooled turkey-spinach mixture. Blend everything thoroughly until well combined and creamy.

                  Assemble the Lasagna Rolls:

                    Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish. Take one cooked lasagna noodle, spread approximately 2 to 3 tablespoons of the cheese and turkey filling evenly along its length. Carefully roll the noodle, ensuring the filling stays inside, and place it seam-side down in the prepared baking dish. Repeat this process for all noodles.

                      Add Sauce and Cheese:

                        Pour the remaining marinara sauce evenly over the assembled lasagna rolls. Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese on top to create a delightful cheesy crust.

                          Bake the Dish:

                            Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Once heated, cover the baking dish with aluminum foil to prevent excessive browning. Bake for 25 minutes. After this time, carefully remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and turns a beautiful golden brown.
